Birthdate from 1900 Cleveland Co. census Obituary from Shelby Daily Star: Julius Crosby (sic), 70, died at 8:30 Thursday night at his home near Waco. He had been ill for several months. Mr. Crosby was a native of Cleveland County and a prominent and successful farmer. He was a member of Mull's Chapel near Fallston. Funeral service will be conducted from Zion Baptist Church at 11:00 Sat. morning by Rev. H.E. Waldrop. Body will lie in state at the home of a brother, Joe Crosby (sic)in Double Springs Community.
