The State Columbia, SC May 9, 1998 MARY WHITESIDE SUMTER -- Graveside services for Mary Causby Whiteside, 89, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in McDowell Memorial Park, Marion, N.C. The family will receive friends 5:30-7 tonight at Kirksey Funeral Home in Marion, N.C. Elmore-Hill-McCreight Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, North Main Street, Marion, N.C. 28752. Mrs. Whiteside, widow of Jay Whiteside, died Friday, May 8, 1998. Surviving are stepdaughter, Norma W. Graham of Lansing, Kan.; stepson, Robert E. Whiteside of Columbia; brother, June H. Causby of Fletcher, N.C.; 13 step-grandchildren.
