The Evening Tribune Welland, Ontario Canada December 17, 1997 MICHENER, Beulah - It is with deep sorrow that the family announce her passing peacefully at home on December 16, 1997. Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be sadly missed by her children; Dale and Wanda Michener, Joanne and Lloyd Sammonds, David and Bonnie Michener, Jane and Robert Hurtubise, her 14 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Also loved by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Ila L. Michener, her parents John and Mary Cosby as well as nine brothers and sisters. She will be forever remembered. Born in Wainfleet Township, Mrs. Michener remained a lifelong resident of the Township. She was a member of Fork's Road East United Church and was a lifetime member of both the O'Reilly's Bridge Women's Institute and the United Church. Friends are invited to visit the family on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the Cudney Funeral Chapel, 241 West Main Street, Welland. Rev. Graham Scott will conduct the funeral service for the Cudney Chapel on Friday at 1:00 p.m. with interment following in Fonthill cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Fork's Road East United Church Memorial Fund or a charity of choice would be deeply appreciated by the Michener family.
