The following story (only a part here) was on the internet, on the page the Southern Baptist have for up to date articles pertaining to the current Sunday School Lesson. It quotes an article from PEOPLE magazine. I wrote to another Cosby descendant and she suggested that I put it on the Causby mail and see if anyone knows of this hero (in my opinion). She is a resident of AL and had received a copy of a video on Jesus. This Cosby may not be of my line, but I would claim him anyway! Last year his stock in USAirways took off, giving Cosby a huge return on his initial investment. Amid some opposition, Cosby chose to spend almost 2 million dollars purchasing and distributing a video about Jesus to every single household in his state! One student in Birmingham who didn't like Cosby's action volunteered to gather the tapes, erase them, and donate the cassettes to local schools. Pressing on, Cosby says, "The physical will eventually die, but we can salvage the spirit" (PEOPLE, 6/15/98, 159).
