I am researching the COSBY line I am currently stuck at James COSBY who had Married a Mary aka Polly Thurman. I have information they were born in Virginia probably around Powahton CO. They were married in Henry Co TN, They had at least 8 Children, Andrew Jackson Cosby b1823, Lucinda Ann Cosby b? B Cosby F b 1832, E. Cosby b1835, J.F.Cosby b 1839, S.N.Cosby Female b 1842, J.M. Cosby Male 1846, Eligah Washington Cosby Male 1847. Andrew is My direct descendant He married Katharine Rucker in Shelby Co. Kentucky july 23rd 1849 from this marriage 9 children were born.
