Cosby, 46, of Long Beach, Calif., formerly of Charleston, W.Va., died Monday, Aug 18, 1997, in Long Beach after a short illness. He was an employee of AARD, Long Beach, a graduate of South Charleston (W.Va.) High School, and a member of First Baptist Church of Vandalia, Charleston. Surviving: father, Mack Cosby of Charleston; brother, Arthur Buggs of Compton; sister, Jacqueline Lawson of Charleston. Service will be 1 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church of Vandalia with the Rev. Paul Gilmer officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar. Friends may call from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Scott Funeral Home, Charleston.
