>From the Richmond Times-Dispatch 10/2/97 COSBY Departed this life Monday, September 29, 1997, Mr. Robert Cosby of 4240 Old River Trail, Powhatan Co. He is survived by two daughters; Gazelle Cosby and Patricia Gray Cosby; three stepdaughters, Celestine Young, Catherine Booker and Brenda Gray; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Joe Fleming, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins, among them, a devoted niece, Eleanor Cosby, other relatives and friends, among them, two devoted friends, Dea Elijah Goode and Benny Earl Goode and a truly devoted companion, Emma Mattie Brown. Remains rest at the Mimms Funeral Home, 19th and Hull Sts. A graveside service will be held Friday, October 3, 2 p.m. at First Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, Powhatan Co. Rev. Joseph Seay officiating.
