Hi! I'm looking for info on James Madison Cosby married to Lucretia Thompson in Pope Co. IL in 1860. James was born mid 1820's. Both he and Lucrectia were born in VA. Lucretia father was Samuel Thompson of Giles Co. VA who migrated to IL in 1850's. Their daughter Louisa, married William Covert in 1883 in Pope Co. Other children born in IL were Josephine, Mollie, James M, Pinkney, and Samuel. James Cosby's siblings were possibly Josephine, Nancy, Melissa, Louisa, and Joel all born in VA.
