I am passing along a letter that was posted to another Rootsweb list which describes the financial problems our Rootsweb organization is experiencing. As most of you are aware, without this fine organization, online genealogy would suffer greatly. Please support Rootsweb by making any donation you can. I am interested in finding any information on the above name. This should be limited to Texas and/or Tennessee (San Jacinto County, Palo Pinto County, and surrounding counties.) This is my GG Grandfather. It was my G Grandfather's impression that he was from Tennessee. Also, is there anyone on the list that lives in or near San Jacinto County, TX? There is a cemetery by the name of Mount Capers near Staley?, by Lake Livingston which is said to contain many other Cozbys. I am hoping that someone is currently documenting this cemetery so that I can get more information. (I live in Florida, otherwise I would do it myself. ) Thanks for any help.
