I'm out here also and could really use some help. Does anyone have a John Caudell hanging around their tree somewhere. He was born about 1796 in Wilkes Co. NC. Died in Breathitt County, KY July 15, 1859. He was married to Nancy Roberts daughter of Moses Roberts and Polly King. Their children were Henry, Moses, Pleasant, Preston, Cynhian, Christy Ann, Sarah, Tabitha, Nancy,John, and Lewis. I descend from Henry Caudell b. 1824 Died 1912, married to Elizabeth Burns. Their son Hardin was my great grandfather. I can't seem to find John's parents anywhere. I live right next to Wilkes county and have checked all the Caudells there, but no one seems to fit.
