Here is Bennie Caudill's obituary. http://www.rootsweb.com/~kyknott2/obits/obits_c.htm Caudill, Bennie J 86, of Miamisburg, OH, formerly of Lackey [Floyd Co., KY], died Thursday, March 8, 1979 in the Carlisle Care Center in Carlisle, Ohio. Born April 1, 1892 in Hollybush [Knott Co., KY], he was a son of the late Hardin and Mary Slone Caudill. He was a retired self-employed carpenter and was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Cora Mullins Caudill, in 1969. Surviving him are three sons, Cardo and Claird Caudill, both of Lackey, and Hetric Caudill, in Massachusetts; four daughters, Mrs. Knonah Hicks, of Covington, Mrs. Esta Strouch, of Cincinnati, OH, Mrs. Zeima Williams, of Carlisle, OH, Delkie Caudill, of Columbus, OH; two sisters, Mrs. Dealie Tyler, of Malfie, and Mrs. Verda Huff , of Hindman [Knott Co., KY]; 19 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. Sunday at the Stone Coal Regular Baptist Church by Regular Baptist ministers. Burial was made in the Childers cemetery at Lackey under! direction of Merion Funeral Chapel. [Note: Part of Bennie Caudill line: Hardin, Isaac, Abijah, son of Abner Caudill & Ellender Johnson] .... I am related to Hardin Caudill (Bennie's dad)by my mother side, and then I am related to Franklin Caudill by father side. Hardin Caudill is my Gr-Grandmothers Dad.
