Nothing promising turned up in my search of the 1930 census. But there's a possibility in the 1920 census: 1920, KY, Letcher Co, West Whitesburg, Pct #1 ISON, Moses, 47, head, farmer Ison, Polly A, 44, wife Ison, Roosevelt, 18, son Ison, Marlie, 13, dau Ison, Bradley, 12, son CAUDILL, Coy, 10, grandson CAUDILL, Rowers, 9, grandson Rowers was indexed as Rowera, but the original image looks more like Rowers. Also the Caudill boys were first indexed as CANDILL, a real problem in this census, especially for Letcher Co KY where there were so many Caudills. Someone had submitted a correction to Caudill.
