She was born March 1894 KY to Sarah 'Sally' Whisman. Alpha is listed as a step-daughter in the 1900 census of Lee co, VA, in the home of Enoch Bradley Bush, and Sarah, who have been married for three years at that time. Enoch was previously married to Sarah's sister, Almira Whisman. Almira and Sarah were daughters of Calvin Whisman and Margaret 'Peggy' Morris of Lee Co, VA Can anyone help me place this James Caudill? and help me determine if Alpha was born out of wedlock, or if her mother was married before Enoch Bush?
