One sample is from the James Caudle line (Yadkin County, NC). The second is my sample, Jeremiah Caudill line (Wilkes Co., NC). The third sample is from the Benjamin Caudell line (GA.) The Benjamin Caudell and Jeremiah Caudill samples match EXACTLY across twelve markers. The James sample is a two step mismatch. We're considering expanding the James sample to 25 markers to get more definitive data. I still beleive that these lines are related even though the two step mismatch suggests there may be quite a distance. More samples from the James line and the Wm. Caudle b. 1795 lines (they were brothers) would be most helpful in sorting this out. WE NEED MORE PARTICIPANTS. Please consider joining the project.
