Benjamin Caudill...My dad's best friend was called Laj or Lodge but he wasn't a Caudill, I don't know how he got the name...My Father worked on the Railroad as a teenager...My family came from Kentucky, prior to Maine and earlier on through Lousiana. 3. Do you have any information on an Elnathan Cordle (various spellings) who was born about 1790 in Virginia and first married a Jennings. They lived in Habersham County, GA, for a time in the ealy 1800s; he eventually ended up in Monroe County, TN, where he remarried. His first wife and children migrated to northern Missouri. It is believed Elnathan was a son of a Benjamin Cordle (again, various spellings). Thanks for your help.
