I have four pages of Cawdles/Cawdell in the Gloucestershire area of England. This was the entry point for many emigrees into England. There is also a possible Welsh connection.

Bob, Glad to receive your response, the parents of George M. ADAMS are listed at the bottom of my query to the CAUDILL List. Mose ADAMS and Henrietta CAUDILL. Both George and Mose(his father) were married at least twice. We are related 11 different ways?, sounds like the Letcher County Gang. Once I was in contact with a man named POLLY/POLLEY, now deceased who was related in several different ways. His parents are Cleveland Caudill and Lucinda Watts. Wesley was born April 15, 1915 and died March 12, 1979. Wesley served in World War II.
