I've just discovered I had some relatives that came from Arkansas into Tulare County before the civil war. They were at least 3 inter- related families that came from Jasper, Newton Co., Arkansas and began showing up in the Tulare Co 1860 census, mostly in Visalia. They were the HUDSONs, DUNNs, and KELLEYs. I am just now organizing them and will send more later. I see I'm not the only Elaine in this group.
