Dinuba Sentinel, Thursday, June 13, 1963 p. 8 Mrs. Hattie Culver who was visiting relatives in Gooding, Idaho, was called home on account of the illness of her husband who suffered a severe stroke. He is convalencing in Tulare Hospital. Dinuba Sentinel, Tuesday, June 18, 1963, p. 4 Leslie Culver Expires Sunday Leslie Guy Culver, 66, a retired carpenter passed away at a Tulare hospital late Sunday afternoon. He was born September 26, 1896. He leaves his wife Hattie, of Dinuba and a granddaughter, Alyce Clem of Traver. Alyce had lived with the Culver's since infancy. He also leaves 8 great grandchildren, a brother Jess of Tulsa, Oklahoma and a sister, Mae Vance of Missouri. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, at the Dopkins Chapel. The Rev. Horace Jackson of the Foursquare Church will officiate. Interment will be in Smith Mt. Cemetery. Dinuba Sentinel, Tuesday, June 25, 1963 p. 4 Recent visitors in Dinuba were Mr. and Mrs. M. Powell of Panorama City, California, Mrs. Elma Culver, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Culver, and Richard Whiting of Porterville. They attended the funeral of Leslie Culver. Hope this helps! ~Shelia
