My address was Rte. 2 Box 689-D, Delano, CA. This was back about 1958 until 1968. What I don't know is the name of the road on which I lived. I know it was about 4 miles from Richgrove, where I attended school, and that there was at least one winery on my road. Can anyone help me figure this out? It was a grape ranch with 6 houses, an office, and sheds (or whatever they are called) for housing farm equipment. The families who lived there at one time or another were: Redger(sp?), Moore, Austin, Toner, and I can't remember the rest. One-quarter of a mile down the road was a really tall silver (water?) pipe.
