My life is so hectic I don't have time to get too involved in message boards and the like but do respond to personal inquiries. The Brown side was a mystery to me for many years, but got gaps filled in in the late '80's. Jay Brown always felt I was too young to be interested and then a lot of his information got burned at Don Bairds house after Jay died. Dons wife did bring my great-greatgrandmother Anthony-Brown-White Bible to me at Penney's in 1982. It was another decendent that visited the Archives back east and came up with all the information of William Acker Brown and the whole Gibbons line. In the stuff that Betty Baird brought me with the Bible was a bank box containing several papers and a journal that belonged to my Grandmother Daley's Uncle, Cornielus Gibbons about herding sheep to Montana.
