Hunt, Badger Rancher Is Dead William Robert Hunt, 71, who operated a ranch for many years in the Badger district, died Tuesday in a hospital at Stockton following a lengthy illness. Mr. Hunt was born in New York and moved to Kansas in his youth. He came to California 40 years ago. For the past two years he had been in ailing health and was living in Kingsburg with his family. He leaves his wife, Maude Hunt; a son, Charles Hunt of Badger, five grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. W. C. Davy, of Madison, Kans. Funeral services will be held on Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock in Ericson chapel with Rev. Fellers, pastor of Riverbend Church, in charge. Burial will be in Kingsburg Cemetery.
