Fox, or Viola Bacon, daughter of Sumner Winn Bacon and Sarah Jeanette Jordan, of Georgia. All I have is the following...no information on if they had any children or not. These are descendants of my Watkins family. Any help appreciated. Viola J. BACON was born Dec 1876. Atlanta Constitution, January 15, 1903: "The wedding of Miss Viola Bacon to Mr. T.B. Fox which took place yesterday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, was a pretty occasion. The ceremony was performed Rev. John E. White at the Second Baptist Church, which was beautifully decorated for the event. The only attendants were Miss Lucy Bacon and Mr. H.L. Fox. The bride, who is a striking pretty girl, wore a becoming traveling suit of dark blue cloth with hat to match, and carried a bouquet of white roses. The maid-of-honor was gowned in white and carried bridesmaids roses. Immediately after the ceremony Mr. Fox and his bride left of a visit to Tennessee." Not long after her marriage, Viola posted this ad in the Atlanta Constitution: "Mrs. Viola Bacon Fox, Sudio 710-711 Lowndes Bldg. Minatures and Water-Color Portraits. Classes in China Decoration and Water Colors, Wood Carving and Pyrography." Also... "The art exhibition and reception held at the studio of Mrs. Viola Bacon Fox, 710-711 Lowndes Buidling, by her pupils Saturday was largely attended, and showed the increasing interest in art among Atlanta people."
