Am looking for any info on John Carpenter/ Eunice Stivers from Tehama County. John Carpenter's father was John Sales Carpenter, he married Mary J (don't know if the initial is middle or maiden name, they had 10+ children. Stivers is an abbreviation of Styverstant, which is an abbreviation of either Von or Van Styverstand.
