Otto Lindner, 74, Rancher, Is Dead Otto Herman Lindner, 74, widely known Tehama county rancher, died yesterday afternoon in his room at a local hotel, result of a heart attack. He had been under the doctor's care for some time. It is presumed that he had been dead but a brief time, when discovered by his granddaughter, Bette Witte, local nurse, who called at his room each day. Lindner was born April 30, 1883 in Germany and came to Red Bluff 44 years ago. He operated a ranch south of town on the Airport Road and also formerly engaged in trucking cattle. Lindner was a member of the Red Bluff BPOE. His surviving relatives include a son, J.O. Lindner of Mt. Shasta, two daughters, Mrs. Lucille Griffin, also of Mt. Shasta, Mrs. Evelyn Waldis of Gerber, a sister, Mrs. Edith McMillan of Santa Ana and three grandchildren.
