I am planning a trip to Tehama Co in a couple of months and would like to know if anyone knows where I might find information on the former town of Lyonsville. Lyonsville was located about 45 miles east of Red Bluff and was the home of the Champion Lumber Mill. My ancestors lived in this area from about 1886 to 1907+. Also: On my father's birth certificate (b. 1909), the address of his parents, Robert James and Willie Lavilla (Norris) Hall, is listed as 'Flume 6 1/2'. I have always assumed that this address could be associated with the flume that ran from Lyonsville to the Red Bluff area. Does anyone have any information on this address?
