I am a Baseball Historian and am attempting to find the exact date and place of death of a former major leaguer by the name of George McMullen. All I know about him is that he was from California. In a search of the 1920 Cal census, I found 2 George McMullin's and one McMullen with ages within the range I would expect of a ballplayer 33 years after his major league appearances. The George McMullen was 59 born California and living on Washington St, Red Bluff,Calif. I don't have any idea if this is the ballplayer but he is the only George McMullen in the census. Any help with regards to people or institutions that I can write to would be greatly appreciated. Richard Malatzky
