    3. If you have a death date on Mary Van Fossen you can order the death certificate from either the state or the county. I'm not familiar with the Lingenfelter Archives but the death date can be verified thru a lookup in the CA Death Index. The death certificate will give you burial information and the funeral home that handled the arrangements along with parent's names and the cause of death. Deaths before state mandated reporting in July 1905 have to be researched at the county level. Here's the info site for CA vital records: http://vitalrec.com/ca.html - visit the link for Tehama If you haven't verified the death date thru CADI there's a new mailing list for lookups - CA-DEATH-INDEX-L@rootsweb.com <mailto:CA-DEATH-INDEX-L@rootsweb.com> Colleen Norby Rootsweb sponsor ø,¸¸,ø*°´°*ø,¸¸,ø*°´°*ø,¸¸,ø*°´°*ø,¸¸,ø*°´°*ø,¸¸,ø -----Original Message----- From: BLias@aol.com <BLias@aol.com> To: CATEHAMA-L@rootsweb.com <CATEHAMA-L@rootsweb.com> Date: Wednesday, April 12, 2000 5:11 AM Subject: [CATEHAMA] Re: VAN FOSSEN >Second or perhaps third request for death date/burial/obituary information >for NEHEMIAH VAN FOSSEN.
