I apologize for not chnging the subject line on the previous post. I am trying to make some sense of the Hewitt family (whatever spelling). Has anyone any proof of the name of the parents of Lewis L. Huitt who married Martha Elizabeth Thronburg on 13 Apr 1858. They were the parents of Banks, Mary C., Burton, Thomas Lee, Lennie, Louis, Catherine and John Henry.Some of the children were members of St. James Lutheran Church in Catawba County and it is from those church congregational records I got the names of Lewis and Martha. Would be pleased to know Martha Elizabeth's parents too. Agnes E. Cloninger
