Franklin Shook b. ca 1840 Catawba County, s/o David and Matilda Elizabeth Kanipe Shook m. Leah J. Moser 19 Apr 1864 in Catawba County. I cannot find Franklin in the census books aftern 1860, nor can I find either in the cemetery listings of Catawba County.Can anyone offer any information on this couple? Where was Leah J. Moser from? Where are they buried? Did Leah have a sister named Rhoda who married John Shook? Was her father a J. P. ? Any clues at all would be appreciated.
