I have been researching my Hefners in the Catawba area and have found many separate Hefner lines. My sister who also does research has volunteered to do a DNA on our line. It will take a while, and of course it is not worth anything at all unless one has other DNA's to compare with. So, I was wondering if any other Hefners have or plan to have DNA testing. It has to be the kind that is done only on male members of a HEFNER LINE. We have several male Hefner cousins and she has already obtained the sample, and I think it has already been sent in. I am not sure how long it will take. So is anyone interested? Wylene Alston
