Hi, all- Merry Christmas. In reading over the Will of Lawson Fry of 14 Aug 1871, I noticed that in the listing of children that Louise Elvira "Lou" or Lucy" Fry b. 18 Mar 1851 (who m. Daniel Anderson Finger in 1873 and no parents were listed for the bride or groom) is not included in his will which is strange unless they had some sort of "falling out". She was listed in the 1860 & 1870 Catawba County Census in the household of Lawson. I am wondering if this child is really the d/o Neely Davidson Fry and Ruanah (or Rosanna) Eliza Cline Fry. Does anyone know the real parents of Louisa? I didn't see anything in Betty & Edwin Camin's NC Bastardy Bonds book. Ann Propst, Brevard, NC
