Hi- Ran across a "curious" entry in Catawba Cousins, Vol. 1, No. 1, p 13, Zion Lutheran Church Birth and Baptismal Records-"Johannes Yoder and his wife Polly a daughter Anna Eliza Clarica born 7 August 1823". I always thought that "Anna Eliza born 7 Aug 1823 was the d/o of Johannes Yoder II and his wife, Sarah "Sallie" Whitener. The above one would assume that it was Johannes Yoder, Sr., 1764-1835 (father of Johannes, Jr.) and his wife, Mary Barbara Reep, 1763-1842, making her a mother at age 50 which is not impossible. Is this an error in the Zion Church records? Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks. Ann Propst, Brevard, NC
