Hi- Need clarification on wife of Martin Luther Houston. According to p. 210 of Catawba County NC Marriage 1842-1900 wife of Martin L. Houston cited as Mattie J. Huffman, d/o of Alf and Dollie & married on 22 Dec1889. In Catawba Cousins, Vol. 9, No. 4, March 1995, p. 15 in an article on their 50th wedding anniversary, wife of Martin Luther House is shown as MISS MATTIE JANE LYTTON & states marriage occurred on 23 Dec. Both are buried in St. Peter's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Catawba Co., NC. Please if anyone knows which is correct I would appreciate hearing from you. Thanks. Ann Propst, Brevard, NC
