Hi, J. A. Fry, age 47 of Catawba Co., NC s/o of Conrad and Nancy Fry m. 22 Dec 1884 in Caldwell County, NC M. Emma Cook, age 21, d/o (father unk.) and Mary Cook. At first I thought this might be John A. Fry, b. 1844 but after 1860 I know nothing more of him. Then looking at his older brother, Jacob Augustus Fry, born in 1836 (now the age 47 of J. A. Fry fits), I have begun to wonder about this fellow. He m. Louisa E. Sigmon in 1857 and had 4 kids that I know of and were divorced. Then he had a relationship with Mary Linnie J. Starr which resulted in 11 kids born 1867 thru 1899! Does anyone know which J. A. Fry is the one that went to Caldwell Co. and married M.
