I don't know what that means. First off you are probably quoting from the book that Margaret Hopkins and I did called "The Lagle/ Lail Family in America". To date there have been 4 editions and some things are different between them. One thing that changed was the birth year of Henry the father of Catherine 1832. We had two birth years given (1784,1790) and eventually we settled on the earlier date. Paramour is French for Margaret hated to say that the other parent was not married to our Lagle/Lail.
