Nancy, Webster was the county seat of Jackson County from the formation of the county in 1851 until 1913 when the county seat was moved 2 miles north to Sylva. Sounds to me like that would work. However, Jackson County is about 100 miles west northwest of Rutherford County. Jim -- James E.
