The census records for 1860 do not show Sid Yount with a wife, he is still living with his mother Anna who appears to be widowed by this time. There is no evidence in any census that Sidney Yount was married to a Martha and living in Catawba County. The Sidney who was son of John and Anna continued to live with his mother until after the 1880 census was taken. The 1900 census shows Sidney and wife Laura who have been married 20 years, living with their 6 children, Vance, Lockey, Bessie, Flossy, Lester and Rosie. Which child of Sidney Yount is your ancestor, maybe we can find it going from that name. I think that perhaps Sidney who married Martha Little and Sidney who married Laura Bolich are two different people.
