Margaret d/o John Pope-b. ca 1836-and Susan/Susannah Barnes Pope-b. 8/12/1835-d. 2/3/1916 John s/o Theobald Devault Pope and wife Catherine-T. D. Pope s/o Heinrich Pope/Pabst/Bobst who supplied the land for St. John's Luth Ch, Catawba County. Now if I can prove all this-Some of it I can't. This line of course from the Pabst/Bobst/Pope Line from Germany. Can anyone help verify the above? Some of it is educated speculation using census records, cemetery records, and common sense, all of which at times can be wrong. Does anyone have any corroborating evidence to the above?
