Thanks for replying. I have seen Sheriff Sidney Yount on some Catawba County records. I am familiar with some of the Younts and some I am not. 1. Cora Yount, Burke CO, NC married Thomas J. Thomasson abt 1874. Thomas was from McDowell CO. Don't have any information on Cora Yount. Marriage record or who her parents were. 2. Cannda Yount married Logan G. Whitener, 1850 Catawba CO.
