I sat down this morning to delete some e-mails when I ran across the notice about the Fry/Frye reunion. I remember that there were Frys in my linage. I don't have much at all about them. Malinda Fry married Noah Sigmon. Their son was John Henry Sigmon who married Susan Workman. Their daughter was Willie who married Edward N. Jarrett. She was my great grandmother. I have extensive files on the Lails, Jarretts, Reeps, Abernathys and Sherrills but nothing on the Fryes. Can somebody help me out? It would be nice to make the Frye Reunion, even though I may not know anyone, but , I am 300 miles away. I will be glad to share anything that I have on the above families. By the way, I get more and more homesick every day after reading all the e-mails on Catawba-west. I haven't lived there for over 30 years.
