Thanks to several who sent me some directions to Macklins" Creek. I found a McLin Creek just east of Conover which empties into Lyle Creek near the town of Catawba. This Delorme map that I have--North Carolina Atlas and Gazatteer--a 2001 copy--is great. However, they many times misspell the local places. Did they spell McLin and Lyle correctly?? Thanks. Ida Deal
