Previously, the Harts had called the house the Kahill house and after receiving my documentation, they renamed it the Dellinger-Kahill house. A beautiful photograph of the house is on p94 of "Catawba County an architectural history." Dr. Hart did a wonderful restoration of the house, and has sited it by the pond. I visited and found it very moving to walk through and imagine the lives lived within those walls. Kathy Gunter Sullivan
