Maxwell William Barger(s/o Simeon and Fannie Pitts) married Catherine Melinda Setzer Jan 1860. Maxwell died in miltary hospital May 1863. In 1870 Catherine has 4 children; Franklin(george franklin age 8), Fanny (frances elizabeth age 7), william (age 2) and "not-named" aged 1. The last two children could not be by Maxwell William -any clue about these children. My husbands line is Maxwell, then his son George Franklin. I have that Catherine was d/o George Walter Setzer, Sr and Elizabeth Ann Ward. She was born on 12/12/1834 in Lincoln Co. and died on 10/8/1905 in Lincoln County. They married on 1/15/1860 in Catawba Co. I have that Frances Elizabeth was born on 11/1/1860 in Catawba Co and died on 7/23/1919 in Catawba Co. She married William Pinkney Burns on 8/27/1885 in Catawba Co. I do not have anything on a 2nd husband. BTW, Maxwell died on 5/27/1863 in the Richmond Military Hospital, Henrico County, Virginia, better known as Confederate's Hospital. I have about 10 pages of notes on the Burns family if that would be of interest to you. I don't have anything on George Franklin, so I would be interested in any info you have.
