According to John L. Setzer, in his book, Setzer, Setser, Catherine, daughter of Jacob Setzer III and Mary Trefflestret, had two children after Maxwell died. The death certificates of both William Vance Barger (1868 - 1939) and Joseph Pinkney Barger (1869 - 19460) list their father as Simon Barger.
