Ann, Daniel Hallman and Mary Lontz were married 5 February 1824 so Laban born in 1823 wasn't likely to have been their son. Daniel's wills don't mention Laban, but he was clear that he had been married twice (to Mary and Sallie). This suggests that Laban was not from an earlier marriage. There was at least one other Daniel Hallman in the area at that time -- perhaps Laban was his son? Jan
