Am researching the GOODIN/ELDER/BOWLES families of NC. The names are: ZACHARIAH GOODIN, born 1808. Married MEEKY DORCAS SLOAN. Do not know where ZACHARIAH was born, who parents and siblings were. His children were ALVIN HAYWOOD GOODIN, born 1843; ANDERSON GOODIN, born 1835; HUGH A. GOODIN, born 1837 and MARY ALEASA GOODIN, born 1839. BARTLETT GOODIN, born 1813/1814. cannot located parents and/or siblings. ISHAM GOODIN, born about 1750. cannot locate parents/siblings/children. ANDREW ELDER, born 1795. JOHN BARTLEY BOWLES, born 1769. BENJAMIN GOSHEN BOWLES, born 1802. It appears that all of these had ties at one time or another in the Catawba section of NC. Any help would be appreciated.
