>From the 1850 census of Catawba Co., NC, family 901 is: Casper BOLICK 51 farmer $800; Julia Ann (HUFFMAN?) 47; Frederick 21; Lucinda 18; Polly B 17; Manuel? 16; Amy 14; Anthony 10; Elizabeth 8; Wm N. 6; Jordan? 4. I can't place this Casper. If I back up to the 1820 census then the only folks who have a son who could be 21 are: Adam Jr., Casper, Godfrey, and Jacob Jr. Since Jacob left a will naming his children we know that his youngest son was named Jacob. Does anyone know if this Casper is a son of Adam Jr., Casper or Godfrey?? A site on Ancestry.com has Casper as a son of Godfrey--but also has Casper born in 1788 and says he was a private in the Rev war--so who can trust that kind of wonderful data. Anyone have this Casper in your data? Thanks Ida Deal
