Funeral services at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Cornelius Dumas, No. 36 Brownell Street, Wednesday, at 2 o'clock p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. (Burial at the convenience of the family.) I could not find a death notice for Elijah C. Then I looked through the city directory of Fall River for 1853 to 1864. City directory for 1857 - Caswell, Elijah, farmer, house, New Boston Caswell, Elijah C., teamster Caswell, Henry, teamster, house, 3 Ban Buren City directory for 1859 - Caswell, Elijah, farmer, house, New Boston Caswell, Elijah C., driver Bread Wagon, house, 43 Rock Caswell, Thomas, farmer, house, New Boston City directory for 1861 - Caswell, Elijah C., driver Bread Wagon, house, Mt. Hope Village City directory for 1864 - Caswell, Elijah C., Spoolturner, h. 205 South Main I went to the Oak Grove Cemetery. I looked up Caroline B. Her card says - Name: Caswell, Caroline B. Lot Number: 1043 Interment No.: 9,545 Location of Lot: Brier Path Date of Death: July 24, 1892 Date of Interment: January 27, 1892 (Apparently she was buried a few mths. before she died) Age: 68 Years 3 Months - Days Place of Death: Fall River, Mass. Undertaker: Owner of Lot: Thomas N. Caswell Removed: I went to the Somerset, MA library, I found the town records for 1870. Listed in them was a Poll Tax of $2.00 for each person William H.
