Hi Harry: we have records of a Solomon Caswell family in RI which might be connected. Solomon born Providence RI 1769 - died 1857 buried in Cleveland NY. He married Polly Leach 1770-1852. They lived in Oneida Co NY, and their children were: Emery- died a bachelor age 25 in the south, May - married Mr. Belknap, Louise - married Mr. Whitney, Gracia - married Mr. R. Mathews, Susan - married Mr. Ward, Horace married Lucretia Ford in 1826 (this line is continued), Charles (children -John, William, Charles, Almanson), Frank (children - Frank, Edwin, Buell).. Could your Solomon Caswell of Norton be the father of the above Solomon? Beulah
