Jack Samuel is a CASWELL name that I always associate with the CASWELLs of Blackwater, Ireland. Shirley Mayse has covered them in her book, which I can make copies of. I remember reading about the Caswells of Owen Sound, but can't quite place where in this book. (its 400 pages) I've forwarded your letter to the listserver, with my reply.
